HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT FIT FOR SHOES
Firstly, never measure your feet in the morning; feet will often swell during the day due to heat and general activity. For the optimal fit, you should measure your feet at the end of the day.
To measure for your shoe size try these instructions:
1. CHECK HEEL-TOE LENGTH
Place a piece of blank paper on the floor with one end of the paper against a wall. Now stand on the piece of paper with your heel against the wall (which will be at the end of the paper). Now using a pencil mark the piece of paper where your toes end.
Use a ruler or measuring tape, and measure from the end of the piece of paper where you heel was, to the mark you created with your pencil and then compare the measurement to our sizing chart.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
With any luck you already have an idea of what size you would normally where, however this can hopefully give you a firmer understanding if you weren't sure. If you happen to be between US sizes, you are probably better off going the half size up and wearing thicker socks or inserting a second sole, this will be more comfortable than wearing a shoe that is too small.
HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT FIT FOR CLOTHING
To measure your clothing size please follow these instructions:
1. CHEST
To get the closest sizing, use a flexible tape measure and run it around the fullest/widest area of your chest, making sure to keep the tape measure horizontal.
2. WAIST
Now measure again around your waist, making sure to keep the tape horizontal.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
Hopefully this will guide you to the best fit - but what do you do if you are in between sizes?
Well, that's up to you. Do you like a tight fit? Go for the smaller size. Loving a loose fit? Go for the larger size.
Top fit: If your body measurements for chest and waist result in two different suggested sizes, order the size from your chest measurement.
The instructions above provide general fitting guidelines based on body measurements, however, there are many body sizes and shapes so please use this as a guide only.
